Talha Shah founded the site and edits every page. He has more than ten years of experience in insurance and personal finance, helping families understand policies, premiums and claims. After watching people choose cover by guesswork, he set out to build tools that make the arithmetic visible.
What Talha writes about
Cover sizing, policy types, premiums, beneficiaries, claims, riders, taxes and annual reviews: the decisions that determine whether a family is actually protected, not just insured on paper. Each guide is paired with a calculator, so a reader can move from explanation to a number for their own situation without leaving the site.
How pages are checked
Formulas are tested against hand calculations before publication and re-tested whenever the shared code changes. Examples use the same numbers as the calculators, so the worked example and the live result match. Pages carry a review date and are updated when rules or best practice change, and reader corrections are checked and fixed with an updated review date.
What Talha does not do
He does not sell insurance, recommend a specific insurer, or give personal advice. The site is supported by advertising, which never influences a formula or a conclusion, and calculator inputs are never collected or stored.
How Talha approaches a guide
Start with the decision, not the product. A guide should leave a reader able to state what they need, why they need it, and what it should cost, in their own words. If a page cannot do that, it is rewritten until it can. That is why guides open with a direct answer, work through one concrete example, and end with takeaways a reader can act on without re-reading the whole page.
